Heritage Days 2005
Jospehine County Heritage Days was a great event sponsored by Evergreen Federal Bank. The heritageof Northern Jospehine County was the highlight of events in September 10, 2005 which was enjoyed by more than 600 participants. Events took place at Golden, Wolf Creek Inn and Sunny Valley Applegate Trail Interpretive Center.
At Golden Living History Players attended in the roles of many former citizens and created a wonderful ambiance. Pastor Dennis Webber becamse an old-time preacher and 5 couples renewed their vows in the church with the community members as witnesses. The Golden Post Office, dormant for more than 70 years, was "reopened" to post letters with a special one day cancellation.
