HISTORY
Golden is a ghost mining town in southern Oregon currently owned by the non-profit organization Golden Coyote Wetlands, Inc. It is open to the public for discovery and enjoyment.
Golden National Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in July 2002. It includes the Golden townsite and the mining claim of William Ruble.
